Korean singer K.Will performing at "K.Will Live Concert with Band in Osaka" on July 24 [Starship Entertainment
Korean singer and songwriter K.Will held his second solo concert in Japan over the weekend, according to his agency Starship Entertainment on Monday.
A press release from Starship announced that the ballad singer took to the stage with an eight-man band for his concert titled "K.Will Live Concert with Band in Osaka" held at the Creo Osaka Central Hall on July 24 attended by about 1,000 fans.
He opened the show with song “Dropping the Tears,” followed by the tracks “Love is Punishment” from the soundtrack of SBS’ popular series “Shining Inheritance” (2006), “Dream” from KBS’s drama “A Love To Kill” and “Wish” from KBS’ historical epic “King Sejong the Great” (2008.)
The balladeer continued the two-hour long show with Boyz II Men's hit song "On Bended Knee," R&B singer Jesse Powell's "I Like It" and Japanese singer Mika Nakashima's "Will." He also gave an encore performance, belting out his hits "Music is My Life" and "Teardrops."
"I was nervous because it was my first time in Osaka but was happy to see a lot of familiar faces," K.Will was quoted as saying, adding that he will be releasing a new album before visiting the country again.
K.Will, whose real name is Kim Hyung-soo, made his debut in 2007 with his first full-length album "Left Heart". He is well-known for collaborating with many recording artists as well as contributing to drama soundtracks.
