The highly anticipated remake of John Woo’s 1986 film A Better Tomorrow, Mujeokja has wrapped up filming on July 1st after five months of intense filming.
With a cast of Joo Jin Mo, Song Seung Hun, Kim Kang Woo and Jo Han Sun, the Korean remake which is directed by Song Hae Seong has been attracting much attention since it begun filming earlier this year.
Song Seung Hun who plays the leader of a weapons smuggling organization expressed, “Mujeokja will become a hot topic this fall. If you do not watch it, it would be hard to strike a conversation with your friends,” showing supreme confidence.
The mafia movie is about four guys who get embroiled in a web of betrayal and setups through misunderstandings, with an unpredictable tragic ending.
Mujeokja will hit cinemas this September.
