Shin Hye Sung participates in the OST for Mujeokja

Shinhwa’s Shin Hye Sung recently participated in the OST for movie Mujeokja.

Mujeokja is the remake of a Hong Kong film titled A Better Tomorrow. Shin Hye Sung sang the theme song for a character played by Kim Kang Woo.

This is Shin Hye Sung’s first time participating in a movie’s OST. He’s already got a considerably large fanbase all across Asia, both as a Shinhwa member and as a solo artist. With his addition to the Go Together line up as a musician, he’ll be alongside other big names in the industry such as Joo Jin Mo, Song Seung Hun, Kim Kang Woo, and Jo Han Sun, making many conclude that it’s the biggest combination of K-pop and Hallyu stars.

Shin Hye Sung stated, “It’s an honor for me to be able to participate in a movie with the nation’s greatest director and actors. I’m personally a big fan of A Better Tomorrow. I hope that everyone gives a lot of love and interest for the OST as well as the movie.

A representative of Mujeokja revealed, “Kim Kang Woo’s character is someone with a lot of pain in his life and so his theme song is a very calm melody. Shin Hye Sung’s voice is the perfect fit for it since it is both strong and clear at the same time. We’re sure that a perfect OST will be born.”

The full version of Shin Hye Sung’s OST, Timeless Memory, will be released on the 7th.

Shin Hye Sung is also preparing for an album release for the 2nd half of 2010.
